Position Description:

Provide expert level support for the design, compilation and presentation of compelling digital and hard copy media information products about complex subjects related to the use of geospatial technology for natural resource management. Products include cartographic products, posters, brochures, presentations, website content, etc.

To excel in the position for Geospatial Communications and Graphic Specialist, you need to be a well-rounded technical expert possessing a client service mindset and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

Knowledge and experience required in the use of ArcMap, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) and relevant Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree related to graphic design or physical/biological/environmental/natural resources discipline with substantive coursework in graphic communications or advertising.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting and managing internal and external graphics communications.
• Demonstrated experience designing digital and hard copy media products (e.g. websites, publications, newsletters, booklets, directories, brochures, presentations, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a project team.
