LOCATION: We are seeking candidates for an immediate opening in Orlando area.
POSITION: This position will function in several roles, including: as a CAD Technician and GIS Analyst, and for MCG projects that include airport projects, roadway projects, and environmental projects. This position provides planning and design production support and electronic file management.
Input data into GIS-database
Coordinate with GIS-software helpdesk for specialized GIS-software use
Prepare drawings and exhibits using AutoCAD Map 3D
Manipulate BIM Models (Revit 360)
Develop databases and integrate into GIS system
Use industry best practices to ensure appropriate levels of system security for file/data management
Import/export data between AutoCAD, Revit and ArcGIS
QA/QC incoming datasets
Provide related CAD and GIS support to support company projects
Develop quantity takeoffs
Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, Engineering Technology or similar
Experience working with GIS software (ESRI, ArcView, ArcMap, ArcGIS, similar)
Experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D or with BIM modes (Revit, Navisworks or other 3D software)
Good oral and written communications skills, and confidence in representing firm at client meetings
High proficiency working with Geodatabases and ESRI ArcGIS software suite is a must
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
A can-do attitude; ability to perform assignments effectively and efficiently, with a sense of immediacy, while maintaining high quality standards
