Title: GEOINT Project Manager
Location: Athens, AL
The GEOINT Project Manager is responsible for the full project lifecycle of GEOINT and/or GIS related projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the Project Management life cycle
Excellent communication skills are a must
Technical expertise in the areas of GEOINT, GIS, Photogrammetry or Remote Sensing
Knowledge of federal government (NGA, AGC, NAVFAC, USACE, etc) spatial data products and services.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university plus a minimum of 3 years experience in the geospatial field; or 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. GIS, Geography, or Civil Engineering degree preferred.
Experience with ESRI, Microstation, Intergraph, AutoCAD and related software preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains interface with existing clients and production
Develops additional opportunities with clients by adding
value whenever possible.
Establishes and cultivates client and professional
relationships that create repeat business, referrals,
professional references, and partnerships.
Communicates clear direction and project status to the
client, Production Manager, and staff.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as
appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Manages day-to-day operational aspect of assigned
projects and scope
Minimizes risks and exposures on projects
Interacts with Clients and subcontractors
Directs activities of subcontractors
Reviews potential projects and develops the technical
design, direction, and approach via the RFP process and
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and
Follow-up with clients when necessary on unpaid invoices
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
Holds project meetings with team as required
Participates in the estimation process for projects during
the RFP or price response phase.
Conducts short list presentations with sales; establishes
liaison with clients
Maintain working rapport with clients.
Attends Trade shows as required.
Gives presentations to clients.
