Title: GIS Developer
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
The GIS Developer is responsible for Berkeley County Water and Sanitation’s overall GIS functions and provides GIS support in the daily maintenance and presentation of geographic data. Perform complex edits on new and existing water and sewer assets, utilizing raw CAD files (as-builts), GPS field work and general ArcGIS Geodatabase queries and maintenance. Provide GIS analysis, geoprocessing and complex mapping support to include editing existing and creating new maps using the ArcGIS 10.x suite of software. Performs ArcGIS Geodatabase maintenance, and related GIS quality assurance, quality control practices and procedures. Creates, maintains, tests and improves BCWS ArcGIS Server services and applications. Provides GIS technical support for new and existing GIS users. Maintains GIS software, including installation, upgrades and patches for staff. Coordinate technical GIS projects with outside systems, vendors and county staff. Create standard system products and cartographic presentations of GIS themes for staff. Contributes to the maintenance of the CMMS and EAM. Perform other duties as assigned.
