Position Description:


We are an authorized Trimble GPS distributor and ESRI Business Partner with an immediate full time opening for a Mapping & GIS Solutions Sales and Support specialist. The ideal applicant should possess the right combination of sales and personal skills, with knowledge and/or educational training within the Mapping & GIS industry. Applicant should be goal oriented and energetic to stay ahead of a dynamic MGIS industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Identifying and developing key vertical markets within a specified territory
Providing sales, support, training, problem solving and consulting services to new and existing customers
Interfacing and developing strong relationships with key end users
Attending tradeshows and industry events
Travel to areas within our territory to ensure close customer contact
Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of associated hardware and software from Trimble, ESRI
Prior sales experience preferred but willing to train a recent college graduate with appropriate background/degree
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
The drive and ability to excel.
The ability to travel for training and tradeshows, as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate Degree in GIS (or equivalent) preferred, or 2+ years equivalent industry experience without a degree.
Good written and oral communication skills.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation will be provided in the form of a base salary plus commission, based on experience and education. This position includes a benefits package with: health insurance, 401K, paid vacation.
