Title: Junior Geospatial/Utilities Analyst
Location: Tyndall, AFB
Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Junior Geospatial/Utilities Analyst to work onsite at Tyndall AFB, FL. The Tyndall AFB Junior GeoBase analyst will work with the Air Force Civil Engineer Command (AFCEC) Geographic Information Office (GIO) team, AFCEC Sustainment Management System (SMS) team, and the AFCEC Utilities Inventory Program team to focus on supporting the development of data collected for the entire USAF. The Junior Geospatial/Utilities analyst will be expected to input/update data collected from various field activities, collected legacy data and established GIS layers to support a consolidated version of attributed data for installations and the AFCEC GIO Enterprise.
•Support Utilities GIS lead to create and maintain Air Force Civil Engineering utilities and SMS GIS data in an enterprise environment, working in a versioned, multi-user geodatabase; performing data QA/QC and ensuring compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense geospatial data standards.
•Perform complex cadastral and GIS data maintenance, manipulation, analysis, extraction and generation assignments; perform data research, investigation and verification; create and maintain files of digital pictures of streets and street problems for department use; code and digitize maps and geographical feature data into various layers; prepare projects and data for archival storage; perform record keeping and inventory; document and file data sources and map files for future reference.
•Prepares, produces, maintains and updates a variety of maps, drawings, plans and other graphic representations displaying layers and attribute data from databases, using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data; develops and maintains data layers, using GIS tools, CAD tools, FME and relational databases; supports detailed spatial analysis including notifications, buffering, and zone consolidation; manipulates images for electronic mapping; enters attribute data pertaining to specific features into a relational database; incorporates maps, charts, data files, spreadsheet data, documentation and text into reports.

•Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years geospatial experience, OR six (4) years related experience in lieu of a degree.
•Must possess active Secret (or higher) security clearance, or have ability to obtain Secret clearance
•Knowledge and experience using ESRI ArcGIS software
•Knowledge and experience working with utilities data
•Familiarization with the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) GIS data standard
•Excellent communication and consulting skills with emphasis on stakeholder engagement
•Proven experience providing excellent customer service
•Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft Office products
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
•Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
•Experience with ArcGIS Desktop Products (ArcMap and ArcCatalog)
•Experience with FME to include creating models and scripts
•Experience with SDSFIE
•Experience with Oracle databases
•Experience with Trimble surveying equipment/GPS solutions
•Previous experience with DoD Geospatial IT systems
•Proficiency with server side software to include Internet Information Server (IIS), ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server
