We are seeking a GIS Coordinator to join our professional services integrity and GIS teams based in our beautiful Denver, Colorado office. This is a new role within the organization and is an opportunity for the right candidate to immediately contribute by coordinating and leading the growing GIS Services Team. The role has career progression to GIS Manager and GIS Director with proven performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the VP of Professional Services and Professional Services Sales coordinating proposal, projects and deliverables.
Coordinate the day to day activities of the GIS staff including work schedule, training, billing coordination and PTO.
Develop, mentor, manage and grow GIS services team.
Refining GIS consulting services offerings.
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop content, identify opportunities and close deals.
Technical support for the sales team writing proposals and providing job scoping.
Partner with departments across the organization to collaborate on “field to office” projects and to create added value services.
Document processes and procedures to ensure team is trained and consistently. provides high quality work products that are delivered on time and on budget.
Work closely with development teams on GIS software extensions, apps, and interfaces.
Manage relationships with key GIS software and data vendors.
Create and deliver presentations for internal stakeholders and for industry trade shows and events.
Create and deliver proposals to clients.
Responsible for completing billable work based on client projects and provide oversight for billable work completed by direct reports.
GIS project management.

Key Qualifications:
Passion for geospatial technology and helping clients with data and spatial information.
GIS Analyst level and subject matter expert (SME).
Strong experience working with Esri suite of GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, Portal, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analysts, Explorer, Collector, navigator and Survey123 apps).
Strong experience processing spatial data including but not limited to geodatabases, Shapefiles, imagery, KML/KMZ, DWGs etc…
Experience with FME Safe ETL preferred.
Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Expertise in Water or Electric utilities GIS is a plus.
Expertise in GPS Field Inventory and Mapping is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a GIS professional.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team of GIS professionals.
Other Details:
Ability to travel up to 35%.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
