Kadiak, LLC. is looking for a Sr. GIS Programmer/Analyst to join our team in Anchorage, AK. This is a full time position supporting Kadiak and our government customer.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Demonstrates proficiency in GIS analysis and data modeling.
Demonstrates and maintains proficiency with current and developing technologies and software related to geographic analysis.
Coordinates, manages, administers, and develops the Geographic Information Systems.
Develops various types of GIS maps and related data sets.
Designs and implements GIS analytical procedures.
Performs analysis and maintenance of GIS systems.

Position Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
8+ Years experience
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervise others.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
