Gorrondona & Associates, Inc. (G&AI) is seeking an Aerial Mapping Production Manager in our San Antonio, Texas office. The successful candidate will have direct photogrammetry/LiDAR management experience with design-grade mapping for both DOT and municipal projects.

The position will require management of all phases of the aerial mapping process including, project flight and survey control layout, digital image processing, aerial triangulation, 2D planimetric/3D DTM stereo compilation, orthoimagery development, TIN creation, geospatial data fusion (aerial/mobile LiDAR and terrestrial scanning) with photogrammetry, and QA/QC management. The candidate will participate in the overall surveying and mapping process and will work with multiple G&AI offices. This position also requires the ability to supervise multiple employees and oversight and management of numerous projects.

Interested candidates should have strong technical skills in providing geospatial solutions. The prospective employee will be expected to participate in the overall surveying and mapping process.

Required Experience
• 10+ years of geospatial production management
• Management of geospatial staff in multiple offices
• Project and resource management
• Project experience with mobile LiDAR, terrestrial scanning, airborne LiDAR, and unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Geography, Geomatics, GIS, or a similar discipline.

Preferred Knowledge
• ASPRS - Certified Photogrammetrist
• ASPRS – Certified Mapping Scientist in LiDAR
• FAA Part 107 sUAS Remote Pilot Certificate
