Role: Solutions Engineer

Role Summary: GISinc is seeking an experienced, Solutions Engineer to manage a highly technical development and system integration effort. This effort seeks to develop and test an innovative web-based geospatial capability that can visualize data, query, analyze, handle data entry, mobile data collections, reporting and alerting. This role requires strong technical advisory and leadership in direct support of the Army Geospatial Center (AGC), with current platform expertise in geospatial and web technology, primarily the full Esri stack. The successful candidate will be able to serve as a trusted advisor and advocate to the AGC and stakeholders across the program and provide support and advice on GIS strategies, architectures, best practices, product evaluation, and planning. This role will be both advisory and technical hands on with requirements to help design, administer and maintain the ArcGIS Platform across the enterprise. This role may be executed remotely with as-needed on-site support at a government facility.

Candidates must be have DoD Secret Clearance and be eligible for adjudication on the start date of the period of performance.

Essential Functions:

-Enterprise GIS (Esri) installation, configuration, and implementation support
-Apply cybersecurity subject matter expertise, best practices and standard operating procedures (including Security Technical Implementation Guides) in support of GIS and business requirements
-Configure User Identity and access management as needed
-Established experience and understanding of geospatial integration with IT including cloud, web services, databases and security
-Perform System Administration duties, apply patches and software updates
-Provide training to Tier 1 Service Desk technicians to support the user community
-Support Tier 2 helpdesk requests
-Working and communicating with stakeholders, various organizations, and the direct customer via meetings, briefings, and presentations
-Support ad hoc training requests and documentation to support the Risk Management Framework
-Collaborating with GISinc technical leadership, management, and SME's to provide the customer with the best, most current technical and best practices support and recommendations

Requirements:

-Bachelorís or masterís degree in geography, computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
-Demonstrated proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS/ArcGIS Online
-US Citizen and ability to maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance or Higher

Experience Preferred (in addition to requirements):

-5+ yearsí experience in geospatial/Esri technology with design, implementation and administration of Esri ArcGIS Platform
-Experience with IGI&S, SDSFIE, Real Property and geospatial support for U.S. Military Installations and Ranges
-2+ years GIS implementation and project management experience
GISP
