The Position
The GIS Specialist will deliver high-quality marketing projects which will include geographic and demographic materials/mapping solutions and Geographical Information System based presentations/projects which include the use of maps, web map solutions, and mobile applications. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of GIS software and technology and deliverables. Support education, communication, and analytics to internal brokers (clients) and external clients.
The GIS Specialist will work closely with Frontier Development and RightCoast Real Estate’s principals on all aspects of marketing its development projects and real estate listings as well as handling production of marketing materials for client presentations and market analysis. The GIS Specialist will also play an important role in the future growth of the business and its entire marketing platform.

Key Responsibilities
• Genuinely excited and enthusiastic about learning and pushing design and technical limits, finding new solutions, and producing creative work based on project requirements
• Demonstrate and deliver extraordinary internal and external customer service standards
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing aerial, mapping, photo editing, and general graphics related results as needed
• Determine the message the design should portray that best assists the broker to convey to the client by producing an exact creative product
• Translate detailed information requirements into engaging, user-centered visual design
• Visionary - develop graphics for product illustrations and select colors, images, text style, and layout with style reflective of the industry and company
• Understand and implement brand values across all creative production
• Incorporate changes recommended by the client into the final design (maps, aerials, heat maps)
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously through effective multi-tasing and prioritization, highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of concepts and standards, including development, editing, and quality control procedures
• Deliver short-term projects with tight deadlines
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients
• Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information effectively; understand ideas and information presented in writing and verbally including presentations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Must be open to learning, including new software, and deliver additional research capabilities to the department and our clients
• Highly analytical (traffic count, retail analysis, trade areas, void analysis, etc.)
• Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and able to update market-facing platforms - LoopNet, CoStar, ICSC, etc.
• Experience in print and digital materials
• ICSC Trade show design experience
• Able to develop/modify the website, social media platforms

Ideal Candidate - that is you!

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design - Marketing and/or GIS, Geology, or Environmental Sciences with a GIS emphasis highly preferred

• Advanced skills and experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, collateral design (print and digital)

• Ability to understand the big picture of the organization and customer requirements

• Experience working in Sites To Do Business

• General knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional groups

• 2-3 years of Commercial Real Estate experience

• Some marketing knowledge is a plus
