We have the following position available:
Full Stack ArcGIS Software Developer
(Remote opportunity, candidate must reside in the U.S.)

Preference for individual residing in either southeast area (Asheville, NC) OR mid-west area (St. Louis, MO) to facilitate occasional face-to-face meetings with lead developers located in these areas.

Patrick’s Utilities and Renewables Division is currently in search of an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our growing Software Development and Data Management practice. This is an excellent opportunity to help build out architectures and software solutions solving a variety of geospatial business problems for customers utilizing modern tooling and technologies.

Deliver code focused on scalability, testability, supportability and maintainability.
Participate in solution discussions led by software architects, consultants or sales teams
Add value by assuming software development roles beyond development including requirements gathering and analysis, functional specification, software design, testing, and deployment.
Assist in business development by participating in the creation of work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for projects.
Maintain code integrity and organization. Able to participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Travel requirements: up to 20 %
BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related degree
8-10+ years of experience as a Software Developer with emphasis in JavaScript and Python development
Experience with HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript UI frameworks (Angular preferred)
Experience with REST API development (node.js Express / Python Flask or similar)
Experience with back-end database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
Experience administering web servers such as IIS, Apache, Nginx
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to design and create UI/UX prototypes
Additional consideration for candidates with knowledge of Esri ArcGIS development libraries (ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Runtime SDKs, ArcGIS API for Python, ArcGIS REST API)
Additional consideration for candidates with experience in AWS cloud services
Additional consideration for candidates with experience with containerization (Docker) and/or orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
Additional consideration for candidates providing a link to their GitHub repo (e.g. code files)
