Title: GIS Coordinator

This position includes the operation and management of all aspects of the City's Geographic Information System (GIS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creating, maintaining, and checking geographic information system data, both graphic and tabular.
Creating map documentation for City of Lancaster employees.
Assembling and analyzing spatial data to support the decision making process.
Prioritize and manage geographic information system workflow and data creation.
Providing training and support for GIS users.
Performing general administrative/office duties as required.
Typing reports and correspondence, entering and retrieving computer data.
Provide training and support for the City website.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Class C Driver's License.
