TCarta Marine is a leading innovator and global provider of space-based hydrospatial surveying and analysis, providing products and services to global, multi-disciplinary clients.

TCarta is offering the opportunity for an experienced, aspiring and motivated individual to join their highly technical and collaborative team in Denver, Colorado.

About the role:
In this full-time, in-office position, the Sales Representative will play a key role in pursuing and managing commercial opportunities; executing the inquiry - proposal - contract - delivery - feedback cycle; coordinating technical resources to meet customer needs; and providing input to research and development efforts to address market developments.

Job Responsibilities
-Establish new accounts and service existing accounts
-Proactively upkeep potential and existing customer communications
-Write high quality, appropriately technical proposals, large and small
-Address client needs by engineering adaptations of TCarta products and services
--> Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of TCartaís suite of products and services
--> Discover current and future end user requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers
--> Field end user questions and requests with technical insights on products and services
-Successfully execute contracts
--> Provide customer education and information to facilitate reception and application of TCarta products
--> Ensure client needs are understood and met by TCarta production team
-Prepare sales engineering reports and maps to inform company-wide business development, sales strategies, and product development.
--> Take a forward-leaning approach to bridge the company's RnD approaches with the marketís requirements
-Meet internal and external deadlines. Demonstrate excellence in communications and proposals. Enact improvements in the companyís sales strategy

Must have:
> 3-5 years in a geospatial, hydrographic and/or GIS technical role OR 3-5 years of industry sales experience.
> Fluency with ArcPro.
> Cartographic/GIS skills.
> Experience with Technical Writing. Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills.
> Detail-oriented approach & problem solving mindset.
> Strong personal initiative and ability to take direction.
> Prior success managing multiple assignments efficiently.
> Experience managing the interplay between innovation, technological risk, and meeting market demands.
> Willingness to work extra hours when faced with a deadline.

Nice to have:
> Data delivery experience.
> Experience with product development with regard to end user needs.
> Experience with software requirements.
> General programming skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000-65,000 annualized salary, depending on experience + sales commission to be negotiated
- up to $6,000 annualized health insurance benefit; PPO, national network
- $25,000 life insurance
