Position Description:

Bell, Carrington, Price & Gregg are looking for a Python/Django developer to:
Provide technical guidance and drive best practices for development
Add features to a small Django app
Leverage the ESRI JavaScript API
Administer Heroku hosting environment
Develop scripts to massage CSV data

Our application is a small Django app hosted on Heroku. It uses the ESRI JavaScript API to pull map data from ArcGIS Online. The application allows lawyers to view road construction plans and impacted parcel data that has been collected and put together by our GIS analyst. This is a full-time, 100% remote, direct-hire opening.

Qualifications:
Some familiarity with GIS and its capabilities
Self-starter attitude that requires little direction
2+ years of experience working with Django
2+ years of experience working with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Postgres (also hosted on Heroku)
Experience with Git, Heroku, and other command line tools
Independent programming experience as demonstrated by a GitHub account, personal web page, or prior experience

$60,000-$70,000/year.
