Role: Geospatial Project Manager

Candidates must be eligible for federal security clearance (Secret/T3) and proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.

Flexible work-from-home schedule considered. Within driving range of DC. 2-3 days onsite per month.

Role Summary: The Project Manager leads GIS projects, supported by a technical lead to support Federal Clients. The role is responsible for the following:

Performs integration planning and interfaces to other functional groups
Develops, maintains & supports project plans, schedules & budgets
Reviews applicable policy and applies to project/program
Designs project management methodologies and supports project profitability analyses
Ensures successful completion of all project task and deliverables with technical team support
Leads overall communication with clients and stakeholders
Responsible for monitoring customer experience and support
Acts as internal liaison for sales team/Account Executives
May act as supervisor

Essential Functions:

Project Lead for large federal client
Responsible for overall Customer Experience/Satisfaction
Establish and manages client and team expectations
Coordinate internal and stakeholder meetings
Ensure Quality of Delivery
Foster perpetual sales through successful project management and customer satisfaction
Act as Customer Liaison and foster customer relationship
Manage Forecasting/Billing
Manage Resourcing/Staffing
Scope Management
Provide accurate and timely estimates/Level of Effort (LOE)

Experience Required:

Minimum of BA/BS degree in Business, GIS, Engineering or related *
5+ years of experience or equivalent and a demonstrated ability in IT/GIS Project Management
Experience with Unanet ERP or similar product with resource-planning capabilities
Demonstrated capability implementing project plans and using tools to develop project schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestone driven Gantt charts
Proficient in MS Office 365 suite
Existing DoD Clearance (Secret) (highly preferred)
*Additional experience can be substituted for education

Experience Preferred:

Knowledge or experience in geospatial or technology-related industry
Experience in the Utilities or Energy industry
Skilled in business development activities
Security + preferred
PMP Certification
Work Environment:

Location: Washington DC and surrounding area. Minimum 2-3 days per month onsite required when COVID restrictions are lifted.
Mostly work from home with 2-3 days onsite with government client in DC.
Travel up to <30% of the time.
