Title: GIS Solution Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Geocgi is looking for a GIS Solution Engineer to manage a multi-tier ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. The candidate should have experience designing and implementing enterprise geospatial systems including, installing and configuring Portal for ArcGIS, configuring ArcGIS Server and publishing map and feature services, managing enterprise geodatabases, as well as evaluating and presenting information on Esri and open-source solutions. The candidate will troubleshoot installation and configuration issues and facilitate problem solving through collaboration with the government, system administrators, and developers. The work location for this position is flexible. The candidate may work from our office in Alexandria, VA or remotely from within driving distance of the Washington D.C metro area. The following are requirements of the potential candidate:
DoD Secret Level Clearance
Education: BA/BS; Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, or related fields
Minimum 5 years’ experience in system architecture and enterprise geospatial system design
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server)
CompTIA Security +
Esri Enterprise Administration Professional or Associate (Preferred)
Experience with ArcGIS Image Server (Preferred)
Knowledge of DoD IGI&S data standards and best practices (Preferred)
