Title: Technology Specialist
Location: Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, TX
Strategic Government Resources (SGR) is looking for a Technology Specialist to join our innovative and dynamic team. SGR is one of the largest local government executive search firms in the nation and exists to help local governments become more successful by recruiting, assessing, and developing innovative, collaborative, authentic leaders. Primary services provided by SGR include executive recruitment, interim management placements, candidate, and employee assessments, live and online training, executive coaching, executive team development, governing body workshops, and strategic foresight for local governments.
Under the direction of the IT Director, the Technology Specialist plays a key role in supporting all aspects of SGR including supporting and maintaining all company technology equipment and software, assisting with any new equipment configuration and deployment, installing, upgrading, or repairing SGR software and hardware components, supporting, and maintaining organization’s databases, providing technical support to staff and contractors, and assisting with deployment and maintenance of all IT systems, databases, and software company-wide.
Experienced candidates who are excited about becoming contributing members of our exceptional team will be successful in this position. The selected candidate should possess exceptional multitasking, organizational, and communication skills and have an excellent eye for detail. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of technology-related experience is strongly preferred; however, any combination of experience and training sufficient to perform the duties of the job can substitute for requirements.
Selected candidates must have experience in technology systems and processes and an understanding of the technology infrastructure needs of a high-growth, faced-paced small business. The ability to learn new software quickly and extensive knowledge of digital platforms will be vital.
SGR is a 100% remote work company and team members are expected to have and maintain adequate internet connectivity and workspace from which to be successful. SGR provides necessary technology and equipment for work operations. Team members communicate frequently each day to ensure excellence in client service delivery. Occasional trips to deliver, repair, or maintain company equipment will be required, as well as occasional in-person team meetings, so candidates must be located within the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
The Salary range for this position is $55,031 - $64,742 DOE/DOQ. Anticipated work hours for this position are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (CST) Monday - Friday.
