We are looking to hire a LiDAR and Imagery Analyst for our home office is in Chesapeake, VA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Data extraction/compilation, interpretation of multiple sensor input data (lidar and imagery);
Create a variety of digital mapping/remotely sensed products using various software platforms;
Capture, produce, geo-process and analyze data;
Create and manipulate databases;
Elevation, Feature, and other specific data Processing and Manipulation;
Task Management;
Problem resolution;
Creating Scripts/Models/Macros for multiple sensor platforms;

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field is preferable but not a requirement.
Experience in multi-sensor processing, manipulation, and production is a plus.
Must be computer literate and have excellent problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Associate’s degree, or certificate in relevant course of study, or the equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Proficiency in software applications, MS Office, Excel, Word.
