Now, about you…

This Project Manager will be located at a client facility in Fort Polk, LA . As a Project Manager, you will manage client communication, project execution to ensure schedule, and scope. You will also establish and manage staff and identify and resolve program performance and personnel issues. This position is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities will include:
Manages installation IGI&S Program
Manages a multi-disciplined team of geospatial / engineering professionals
Functions as IGI&S SME and provides geospatial training
Provides GIS Data Quality Control and Assurance to various governmental data standards (FGDC, SDSFIE, etc)
Coordinates, leads, and participates in project and technology related meetings and conference calls
Contributes to all team efforts by taking ownership of assigned tasks and duties, and is fully transparent and accountable for the successful performance of assigned tasks
Performs all duties with the highest possible degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Focuses particular attention on developing and maintaining client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction through the production of superior quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations
Develops and outline work processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering or related field
2-5 years of experience as a Team Leader or Project Manager
2+ years of experience in Army IGI&S Program
Must have a sound technical understanding of key technologies (GIS, CAD, Database) and systems.
Experience developing and maintaining Spatial Data Standard for Installations & the Environment (SDSFIE).
Experience w/ Army IGI&S, Army Atlas, and ePRISMS data
Ability to prioritize required tasks to meet multiple schedule deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and problem solving skills
