We are a talented, hardworking group that share values and characteristics that drive client, professional, and personal success. geocgi is looking for an GIS Analyst with an existing DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security + certification to support the USMC from the Installation Service Branch data center in Kansas City, MO. The GIS Analyst is responsible for web service publishing and management, permissions and account creation, and general troubleshooting for the client’s enterprise GIS system. The candidate will execute the responsibilities of a GIS Analyst, which include:
Triage, prioritize and resolve GIS related helpdesk tickets.
Troubleshooting installation GIS data access and availability issues.
Migrating, loading, and transforming installation geospatial data.
Coordinate issue resolution with software vendors and IT and other data center personnel.
Create and manage user accounts and groups within Portal for ArcGIS.
Publish feature, map, image, and geoprocessing services and manage with ArcGIS Server.
Eager to learn new technology and integrate existing skills within a new industry.
An active and collaborative team member.
An above average communicator, comfortable with technical writing, as well as public speaking.
Highly organized and able to maintain several projects at one time.
Possess a desire to immerse yourself in complex database solutions to support our client’s missions

The following are requirements of the GIS Analyst:
Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, GIS, or a related field, depending on position level.
Demonstrated proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise administration including, Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online
DoD Secret Clearance
CompTIA Security + Certification
Experience with ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro
Understanding of best practices for feature and map services in an enterprise environment
The following are desired capabilities and experience of the GIS Analyst:
Experience with SDSFIE and DoD IGI&S programs (Preferred)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or SQL (Preferred)
Ability to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve complex problems
Excellent writing and communication skills
