The essential function of the position within the organization is to read, interpret and create maps. Responsible for updating data related to geographical areas using GIS tools. Performs technical and analytical work in maintenance and application of GIS data for various county departments and agencies. Responsible for creating GIS solutions for resolving business/operational problems, collecting and maintaining GIS data, map creation, troubleshooting technical problems, providing professional customer service at all times, and performing related work as assigned.
