Summary:
The Implementation Specialist II – Staking is responsible for the effective implementation and launch of products and services related to the Futura Staking solution within new and existing client organizations.

Essential Functions:

-Participate in all stages of the Implementation life cycle for proprietary software and/or database applications for market sale. Analyze, identify, troubleshoot, research, and resolve basic to moderately complex issues throughout the implementation life cycle, which includes after the customer is live on the new software platform.
-Identify customer current workflows and processes and configure the software accordingly. May modify or create workflows and processes based on the software’s requirements. Make configuration changes based on customer requirements.
-Work independently through process configuration tasks for implementation project lifecycle for utilities of low to moderate complexity.
-Work independently to conduct rigorous quality assurance and customer-specific testing schemes throughout the implementation lifecycle utilizing SQL and application knowledge.
-Collaborate across the Enterprise (Meridian Cooperative, Futura, and Arista) with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements to the correct business specifications.
-Collaborate with project teams to identify implementation dates for the project lifecycle, striving to ensure a smooth and successful product implementation.
-Support the customer during and immediately after implementation before transitioning over to the Product Support team.
-Continue to assist the Product Support team as needed.
-Provide new employee training or demonstrations at customer’s location on the software as needed.
-Contribute to initiatives that address user needs and improve operational efficiencies.
-Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and security regulations and the Enterprise’s internal data handling policies.
-Participate in system testing and analysis in support of new functionalities and system processes. Alert development teams of any potential issues with the software.
-Provide input to development teams on ways to improve the product in new versions.
-Beta test reliability and performance of new software versions and alert development teams of any potential issues with the software. Identify and address bugs, glitches, and other issues that may arise during the implementation process. Communicate client needs and potential product improvements based on implementation experiences.
-Contribute to strategy development across the Implementation team, while conducting work with a moderate degree of autonomy and supervision.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Implementation Specialist I’s.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across interdepartmental teams and provide support before, during, and after implementation for Data Analysts, other Implementation Specialists, and Project Managers as needed.
-Develop and maintain documentation for configuration, test cases, processes, procedures, and system design to facilitate knowledge sharing across the Enterprise.
-Work with leaders to propose and implement process enhancements to streamline future implementations.
-Build and maintain knowledge of proprietary utility software and database updates.
-Create comprehensive technical documentation for clients and internal teams, detailing the product's configuration, deployment process, and troubleshooting steps.
-Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
-Represent the company at conferences and networking events.
-Adheres to all Meridian corporate policies and procedures.
-Travel as required.
-Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.


Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
-4 years of applicable experience in GIS, software development, or software implementation experience.
-Esri ArcGIS Server/ArcSDE administration experience.
-Experience administering and managing GIS databases in an SDE environment.
-Applicable relational database, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
-Experience using SQL, Microsoft Access, or other relational database applications.
-Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and configuring web applications.
-Ability to learn quickly, retain information, solve problems, and develop solutions in any number of technical scenarios.
-Must be able to communicate complex, technical information to clients effectively and courteously.
-Strong customer service skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Strong work ethic.
-Training experience preferred.
-Experience and understanding of the Utility industry is a plus.
