Position Description:

The Senior LIDAR Analyst is directly involved in the production of LIDAR data (point cloud processing, classification, reporting standards, feature extraction and calibration) to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. Senior Analysts are also responsible for reporting, providing feedback to LIDAR Techs, Lidar Analysts, and supporting Project Management’s client relations activities.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, Earth Sciences, or related field (will accept commensurate combination of education and experience).
5+ years’ airborne LIDAR production, classification, and editing experience.
Proficiency with PosPac, Stripalign, and other airborne processing software and techniques.
Proficiency with mapping software including TerraSolid and Microstation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience analyzing complex problems and recommending solutions
Strong detail orientation and commitment to quality.
Experience training technical staff on products and services.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptable to changing schedules and priorities based on client needs.

Preferred:
5+ years’ relevant experience.
Familiarity with and ability to learn GeoCue, LasTools, and ArcGIS.
