Position Description:

The City of Kearney is seeking a detailed orientated individual who can assist in the development, maintenance, retrieval and updating of information from the City's Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS). Associates degree or equivalent coursework in Geographic Information Science, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science or related field with 1 year of experience using ArcGIS software. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Geographic Information Science, Geography or related field with 3+ years of experience using ArcGIS; knowledge/experience using: GPS equipment, ArcGIS field collection software, Web mapping with ArcGIS Online, Web mapping with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, and SQL databases. Valid Nebraska Driver’s License required. The City offers full benefits which includes 12 paid holidays, health/dental insurance, 6% 401A Retirement Match, and more.

Hourly pay range: $21.20 - $30.83. Position is open until filled.
