Position Description:

Position reports to the manager of the Account Management team. Day-to-day supervisor will be the senior client account manager for the southeast states. Individual will be working closely with sales account managers to pursue opportunities and expand account activity with existing customers. Market focus in municipal/local government, public works, utility districts, community development, and related segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Sustain and grow existing client accounts. Understand the customer’s needs and plan how to meet them. Identify new sales opportunities within an existing client account. Provide assistance in new sales opportunities as directed. Manage and solve conflicts that may arise with clients. Interact and coordinate with other staff members working on the same account. Develop the ability to demonstrate the Cityworks solution. Attend tradeshows to help build and maintain a presence. Develop and maintain core product knowledge. Other duties as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION
Friendly personality. Solid knowledge of community development, public works, and utilities in municipal and/or utility district (water, wastewater, stormwater, streets, and traffic) required. Knowledge and some skills with Esri ArcGIS required. Self-starter with a strong need for achievement. Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization. Effective time management, decision making, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of electric/gas/telecom is a plus. Knowledge of leading database systems (Oracle and/or SQL/Server) is a plus. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.

PERSONALITY TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS
A high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence. Excellent customer service skills with a “can do” attitude and an extremely strong drive. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations.

EDUCATION
BS/BA in civil engineering, GIS, geography, related field, or a combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
Salary position. Company benefit package includes 401K, health, life, dental, and vision insurance. Travel expense reimbursement

TRAVEL
Approximately 50%.
