Do Your Homework!
The GJC does not vet jobs posted so it is up to you, the user, to do your homework when dealing with any
origanization. If a job seems to good to be true then it probably is. Make sure you know what you're getting
into before moving across the country or across the world.
- Visit the organizations website to learn more about them
- Don't share personal information until well into the hiring process
- Check online business rating websites and the Better Business Bureau
- Ask for references, speak to current employees
- Never, ever send or wire money
