Position Description:

Summary:
Assist a DoD client in managing geospatial data raster holdings for an enterprise wide environment. The incumbent most possess the ability to develop Esri Mosaic datasets, manage Map and Image services, and script common data center hosting activities using Python. He/She will be expected to communicate and coordinate with other staff and/or contractors, project management, DoD clients, and installation personnel. The Geospatial Imagery Analyst must demonstrate a desire to learn quickly and provide innovative and unique solutions to frequently changing obstacles. The candidate should have the following qualities

• Enterprise imagery management; experience with raster products such as multi-spectral, elevation, Orthomosaics, and satellite imagery
• Mosaic Dataset development and image analysis with Esri ArcGIS Desktop 10.x
• Knowledge of available government and commercial available web and image service products, including Digital Globe and VRICON
• Communicate policy and business requirements to a diverse group of civilian and government personnel, to include but not limited to authoring white papers, user guides, policy and guidance, standards, and presentations
• Must have intermediate to advanced skills using Python to automate activities

Requirements:
The following are requirements of the potential candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, GIS, or computer related field
• Advanced knowledge of Esri products
• Basic Knowledge of Networking, Windows Server, IT Security and IIS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Comp TIA Security +

Preferred
• GISP
• FAA Part 107 sUAS License
• Esri Desktop Technical Certification

Experience:
The following are desired capabilities and experience of the potential candidate:
• 3 to 7 Years’ experience including Esri ArcGIS Desktop, Server and Portal for ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of DoD and Federal GIS Metadata and Data Standards and Policy, including SDSFIE.
• Experience in DoD Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) or other DoD installation functional areas, and military working environments.
• Ability to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve complex problems
