The GIS Programmer/Analyst position serves as a lead on the development of system management and automation processes including those for data creation, workflow, and delivery; spatial analyses and cartographic representations. These duties include ensuring accurate application of and facilitating use of these processes via development of user tools and scripts. User tools include but are not limited to analytical, data representation, and data/ system evaluation. The position is responsible for internal data management in an enterprise geodatabase environment, facilitation of data creation and maintenance, supporting users in other divisions and responding to information and map requests. This position serves as support for web application development therefore experience with GIS application development and design, including development of GIS architecture, data management, development processes, coding, testing and documentation is desired.
The GIS Programmer/Analyst coordinates closely with GIS analysts, Application Developers, Database Architects and users.
