Role: Sr. Geospatial Analyst - Assessment, Inventory, Monitoring (AIM) Aquatic Systems

Role Summary: This role will work with a dedicated onsite team to support and achieve the goals of GISincís client in Denver, CO. They will be responsible for implementing technology recommendations, managing spatial databases, and providing the full range of data management support, including automation, QA/QC, training, and documentation.

Essential Functions:
-Coordinate with EGIS staff the hardware/architecture needs from the Assessment Teamís recommendations
-Create, manage, and update existing data management tools using FME, Python, and/or SQL scripts
-Coordinate with BLM, USU on maintaining data collection, migration, and reporting solutions
-Manage and administer databases, including access privileges and indexes
-Ensure that data are documented consistent with BLM policy, including metadata
-Ensure that any spatial data or databases follow BLM spatial data SOPs
-Conduct if needed, trainings on how to access Aquatics data in the new environment
-Create and manage additional data automation scripts as warranted by the Aquatics program
-Ensure that documentation of Aquatics data solution is current, including any tools, databases, services, or mobile applications
-Participate in Aquatics or EGIS calls as warranted
-Communicate with the AIM team any maintenance, down time, or data accessibility issues
-Assist with the management of data stored in various data management systems such as Geoportal Server, Microsoft Access data bases, SDE databases, file geodatabases, file storage servers etc.
-Generate geospatial data, databases, analysis, maps, services and applications
-Explore, evaluate, or configure additional tools that may benefit the AIM data management solution, Collector for ArcGIS and Survey123 for ArcGIS

Requirements:
-Candidates must be eligible for federal security clearance (DOI) and proof of U.S. Citizenship is required
-2+ years with ESRIís ArcGIS Desktop software
-Ability to manage complex projects, including project management skills, skills in sequencing tasks, skill in organizing and facilitating manager and technical work groups
-Ability to communicate technical information effectively to lay persons and resource specialists alike
-Experience in developing written technical documentation (such as reports, training materials, white papers, etc.)

Preferred Experience:
-Preference will be given to those candidates demonstrating at least 1-year experience using ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 or higher
-Preference will be shown to candidates who can demonstrate experience programming in R and/or Python
-Preference will be shown to candidates who have experience collecting and managing aquatic AIM data or similar data
-Knowledge of monitoring data management both in the field and in office setting
-Experience working with chemical, physical or biological data to inform Clean Water Act attainment
