Job Description

You will be responsible and accountable for sales efforts in your territory across the entire line of GIS Product and Services offerings. You will help to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities to expand the current client base. You will use use your knowledge of leading GIS technologies to grow the business.


-Work with and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts
-Work within a culture of success where team members strive to meet or exceed goals
-Develop plans and strategies for growing sales and achieving the company’s sales goals
-Aggressively prospect into State & Local government organizations
-Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within current customer base
-Define and effectively deliver the value proposition for GIS technologies to government clients
-Respond to solicitations, produce proposals, and generate estimates
-Track and report on the sales pipeline
-Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
-Manage key customer relationships to generate additional business and ensure repeatable software and services maintenance revenue
-Participate in closing strategic opportunities
-Travel for in-person meetings with customers


-A minimum of a Bachelor degree in a related discipline (e.g. Business, Computer Science, GIS), and/or have demonstrable experience of business acumen or similar technical consultancy
-Experience successfully being involved in the sales process to local government agencies
-An understanding of GIS, search and/or enterprise software sales
-Proficient in the use of Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
-Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to develop and grow
-Positive and proactive with an enthusiasm for emerging technologies and willingness to embrace new skills
-Driven to deliver and be fearless to challenge yourself
