Summary: geocgi is searching for a Project Analyst/Specialist to assist a DoD client on-site at Osan AFB, South Korea. The Project Analyst/Specialist is responsible for providing project controls development and operation, including baseline schedule development and maintenance, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, and funds tracking. They also maintain and update the integrated master schedule in Microsoft Project, depicting all interface milestones and activity duration from multiple contractors' schedules. This role supports program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices while executing the following general responsibilities:

Supports Program Management Office (PMO) on a billion-dollar cross functional engineering project
Supporting the PMO with progress reporting including schedule updates, document control, risk identification, and stakeholder information
Working closely with PMO teams to maximize the potential of the project
Supporting program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices
Support development of and maintenance of the integrated master schedules in Microsoft Project that reflect interface milestones and activity duration from multiple contractors' schedules
Ensuring the project controls team produces reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast, and prediction of variances
Supporting the development of requirements for specific resource-loaded schedules
Possess proficient computer literacy specifically Microsoft Office applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and MS Project)

Requirements and Experience
The following are desired capabilities and experience of the potential candidate:

Desire to work and live in South Korea
Working knowledge of the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) including integration, scope, cost, human resources, communication, risk, and procurement management
Have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizen)
Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Has a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role (more if lacking degree)
Knowledge of CONUS/OCONUS military/government operations if preferred but not required
Experience in working on complex, multi-contract project preferably facility and utility design and/or construction
Practical ability to utilize critical project management concepts (e.g. EVM, project planning, risk analysis, configuration management, etc.)
Has basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferably related to facility and utility systems design and construction
Experience in maintaining and updating complex (billion dollar) project documents such as project management plans, schedules, and risk registers, as required
