Position: Full-time
Salary Range: $80,000 – 110,000 (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced GIS developer to join our advanced technologies solutions group. We develop technical solutions where a traditional engineering approach is not feasible. Examples include:
• Developing data analytics platforms to identify vehicle crash hotspots in various states
• Integrating GIS and mapping applications to monitor ADA compliancy
• Using machine learning to extract features from imagery and LiDAR data sources
• Producing virtual reality environments for construction inspection training courses

Using the latest GIS technologies and your technical expertise, you’ll develop and deliver GIS applications to help our clients solve a wide array of civil engineering related problems. If you are someone who likes solving engineering problems using technology, communicating with clients to understand their needs, and working with a team to deliver the best possible solutions, this role may be right for you!

• Developing GIS-centric web applications using ESRI and open-source technology
• Designing Windows applications using C#
• Creating Geoprocessing services

• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• A bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, and/or relative experience
• Strong background in JavaScript development and frameworks including ESRI, JavaScript API, Node.js
• Background in Python, C#, or C++
• Understanding of relational databases
