Title: Land Use Administrator

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Land Use Administrator coordinates and performs technical tasks related to land use Permits, Licenses and Easements. Tracks status of all agreements, including Intergovernmental Agreements, and monitors the specifics of each to ensure compliance by all parties. Conducts research on various real estate issues. Research includes a variety of factors related to physical and legal status of a property. Prepares documents including recommendations, ordinances and policy direction for committee and Board. Prepares maps relating to land use agreements. Creates map data from legal descriptions using ArcGIS software. This position performs lifting tasks up to 25 pounds. Drives a motorized vehicle to travel to different locations. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting.
Associate’s Degree in general education, business, geography, environmental science, or related field. Two years’ professional experience with ESRI GIS software. Familiarity with Coordinate Geography (COGO) tools in the GIS environment. Working knowledge of real estate transactions and terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including the ability to prepare presentations, reports and exhibits. Ability to set priorities and function effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level in the organization. Possess valid driver’s license.
