Position Description:

Cloudpoint Geospatial is looking for an experienced problem solver to join our team as a Civil/Geospatial Engineer. We are a leading technology company providing high-quality geospatial services throughout the U.S. for local government, utilities, transportation, and campus facilities clients. This position involves working with Cloudpoint’s team of professionals to solve real-world challenges for clients using GIS technology. Engineers with experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Enterprise environments will be looked on more favorably. Training resources and opportunities on the latest GIS trends and solutions are available as part of this role. This position may occasionally require work to be completed at a client’s location with the intention of knowledge transfer to client staff.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related geospatial science
Two (2) or more years of practicing engineering principles
Experience using various software programs (AutoCAD, Microstation, or Esri products) to prepare or review water, stormwater or wastewater utility data
A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in local government, public works, utilities, transportation, and/or asset management

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ESRI GIS software
Experience providing thorough QA/QC for project deliverables
Experience with data analysis, data processing, and geospatial concepts
Troubleshooting and technical support for GIS users
Ability to manage people, project resources, and budgets

Anticipated Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience
