The Jackson County Oregon Applications team is seeking a GIS Analyst. We use ESRI products and the position has many options for focus and growth. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in areas like: data management, customer service, GIS application development, process automation, and analysis. The Applications Team is small yet effective group of individuals that have strong values in self-motivation, communication, team work, efficiency, and integrity. We support many County Departments, delivering GIS solutions with the goal of improving and helping our community through the services we provide.

The GIS Analyst position is classified and posted within the County’s Programmer Analyst (PA) series. While the PA description is generic, the position fills a typical GIS Analyst scope of practice, with normal expectations and opportunities for a GIS professional.

Programmer Analyst III salary $32.50 - $41.44
Programmer Analyst IV salary $36.13 - $46.11
