Title: Part-Time GIS ANALYST/SPECIALIST

Location: This is a Remote position (Bay Park HQ is in San Diego, CA)

Duration: 3 Months (possibly longer --> 20-30 hours per week)

Rate: $45-$60/hr (no benefits)

Summary

Bay Park Data Solutions (Bay Park) is a small business, located in San Diego. We work primarily with nonprofit organizations to help them collect, monitor, and evaluate data as it relates to their international projects and/or donor information.

We are looking for a well-qualified and motivated experienced GIS Analyst/Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will be a 3-month contract with an opportunity to extend.

Many of our projects involve creating custom surveys using Esri’s Survey123 as well as implementing webhooks (using API’s) to develop automated workflows. Experience building out dashboards using advanced concepts, implementing Arcade in popups, making beautiful interactive StoryMaps, and successful implementation of Experience Builder applications are the skills we are looking for.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing and customizing solutions within ArcGIS Online
• Extensive experience creating custom surveys using Survey123 Connect
• Experience creating StoryMaps
• Experience working with Experience Builder
• Comfortable using Arcade
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude—you must thrive in an ever-changing environment with a multitude of different projects and customers
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Strong desire to work with Nonprofit organizations
• Independent and self-motivated
• Excellent English written and verbal communication

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM solutions (such as Salesforce/Zoho/HubSpot)
• Knowledge and experience working with Nonprofit organizations (even if it was as a volunteer)
• Experience with webhook integration solutions (preferably Make (formerly Integromat))
• Experience using the ArcGIS REST API
• Experience with ArcGIS Online Notebooks
• Programming experience (preferably with Python. A bonus if you have experience with JavaScript as well.)
• GISP Certification preferred, but not required
