Far Western has an immediate opening for a GIS Senior Analyst. Job responsibilities include project coordination working with project managers to provide GIS needs for archaeological projects from pre-field research, to report production of print- and web-worthy cartographic products using ESRI ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. This role takes an active part in developing and troubleshooting department procedures, in training new staff, and in overseeing larger GIS projects that may involve a coordinated effort from multiple team members. This job requires a detail-oriented person with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work with a variety of enthusiastic scientists in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in the GIS field, ideally in a team lead position.
