Innovate! Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as an IT/GIS Cloud Architect in support of expanding Innovate’s business footprint.

Our team is looking for well-organized, self-directed applicants who have experience with the ArcGIS suite of desktop and server software and with developing desktop and web-based GIS applications using a variety of programming languages. You will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals to manage large and small GIS projects. You may be called upon to assist with geospatial application design, development, and maintenance through the concept, design, and implementation phases. Your role will also include supporting other personnel in utilizing GIS applications and software as well as interfacing with clients and teaming partners. The candidate must have a “let me at it” attitude and can adapt to a fluid work environment and an occasionally demanding schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES

Extensive experience in overseeing design, installation, administration, maintenance, monitoring, technical support, and problem resolution for databases, including integrations of secure cloud computing architecture
Extensive experience implementing the full suite of ESRI software in cloud-hosted environment for large data programs
Maintenance of architecture diagrams for the GeoPlatform and projects in the GeoPlatform cloud environment.
Provide cloud environments (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, etc.) for production purposes to support the complete systems lifecycle. Cloud environments should be standardized as much as possible to allow interoperability. Environments should be the equivalent of AWS Band 2-4 with most at Band 3.
Provide cloud support and/or governance services, including assigning responsibility for authorizing individual instances for provisioning.
Provide open-standards-based technologies whenever possible to provide interoperability.
Provide backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures and processes in the cloud
Provide support for data storage tiers between live, at-rest, archive, etc.
Provide complete support for IPv6 within the cloud environments provided.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology-related field or related work experience
5+ years of experience in related field
