Position Description:

Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for a degree in geography, regional planning, natural resources, engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional experience in the usage, design, development, and support of GIS solutions
- FAA Drone Pilot licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of employment
- Current state driver's license
- high degree of computer literacy with a strong proficiency in the use of desktop, browser, and mobile GIS solutions
- familiarity with current Esri desktop, mobile, enterprise, and online products
- knowledge of principles, practices, and trends of GIS technology
- knowledge of general mapping principles, spatial analysis, and cartography
- excellent attention to detail as well as excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- ability to work well in team settings and also independently
- experience with structured query language as well as scripting and automation tools
