Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Baton Rouge metro area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work onsite alongside a collaborative group of GIS professionals, multidisciplinary consultants, and engineers.
In this position, you will enhance the spatial alignment, attributes, and accuracy of various geodatabase features using high-resolution imagery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Updating Geospatial Data: Utilize high-resolution imagery to maintain the spatial integrity of geodatabase features.
- Creating Mosaic Datasets: Develop and manage mosaic datasets from high-resolution aerial imagery to support various projects.
- Leveraging ArcGIS Enterprise: Host, publish, configure, and optimize image services to ensure efficient access and usability of geospatial data.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Provide ongoing GIS assistance across departments, including LiDAR, Photogrammetry, and Real Estate, contributing to a variety of projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field.
- Experience in quality assurance, documentation, and providing feedback.
- Working knowledge of LiDAR classification and DEM creation preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to pass a driving record background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating various digital mapping/remotely sensed products using multiple software platforms.
- Extensive experience in raster product development, LiDAR products, publishing, and portal management.
- Web app and dashboard development and customization skills.
- Coding/scripting experience (Python, Batch, SQL, Arcade).
- Proficiency in capturing, producing, geo-processing, and analyzing data.
- Experience in creating and manipulating databases.
- Knowledge of elevation, feature processing, and data manipulation across various categories (e.g., Transportation, Land Use, Hydrography).
- In-depth knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 10x, ArcPro, and ArcGIS Online (AGOL).
- Model Builder experience and proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Mentoring and training experience for junior GIS analysts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Terrascan and/or GeoCue preferred.
- Skills in data interoperability, experience with GeoCortex and Safe FME preferred.
- Task management, problem resolution, report writing, and training collaboration experience.
